FAQs

Is the Vial Applicator already installed on the printer?

No, the vial applicator ships separately. You will need to install the vial applicator following these instructions: i7100 - How to Setup the Vial Applicator on the Peel and Present Model.

What labels work best?

It is recommended that you use labels that will protect samples in harsh laboratory environments long term. That label material is B499 or B7425.

Where Do I Find Labels Compatible With the Vial Applicator?

A reference table with i7100 vial labels and compatible vial sizes can be found on the applicator product page.

Can the Files Be Saved to Printer Memory?

Enable print on demand, this sends all the files to internal memory: What is the Print On Demand Setting on the i5100 and i7100?

What Can I Do if My Labels are not Wrapping Around the Vials Correctly?

You can adjust the swing arms and pressure rollers. You want to make sure they are adjusted for guiding the cap or threading of the tubing. Make sure they come into contact with the cap or threading of the tubing. Do not tuck the tubing so far in between the transport rollers; this will make it harder to release the tubing. See page 13 of the attached user manual for instructions to adjust the pressure and transport rollers.

What if My Vial Isn't Automatically Ejecting?

Make sure the eject is turned on in the printer settings. See page 14 of the attached manual for more information.
