The BMP51 printer has the ability to print both Code 39 and Code 128 barcodes standalone. Before inserting the barcode, you may wish to change the barcode settings. Change Barcode Settings
- Press Label Settings.
- Press the Right Arrow button 6 times until the Barcode option is highlighted.
- Press Enter, which is the blue circle with the left facing arrow.
- On the next screen, it will be possible to use the arrow keys to manipulate the barcode's symbology, height, width, ratio, human readable and check digit settings.
- Once all the settings have been entered, use the arrow keys to highlight OK at the bottom of the screen and press the Enter button.
- Press the back arrow to go back to the main screen.
Insert a Barcode
- Use the Barcode button in the bottom left of the keypad to insert a barcode.
- Start typing in the desired value for the barcode and the printer's screen will update as you type to reflect how the barcode will appear.
- If you wish to type additional text after entering in the barcode, simply press the barcode button again to stop entering barcode data and return to text mode. The image below shows an example of what the screen will look like once information has been typed into it.
Note: If you are printing multiple barcodes at once, change Pause/Cut to on to cut between labels to allow for adequate spacing between labels: BMP51 - Menu Options or print directly from Brady Workstation.
