IssueError reading touch cell, Labels are not present or Invalid Supply displays on the Wraptor or A6500. Troubleshooting
- Invalid Supply - Upgrade the Firmware.
The most recent firmware version resolved intermittent Invalid Supply errors on the A6500. Upgrade the firmware to the most recent version following these instructions: How to Upgrade the Firmware on the A6500.
- Confirm the roll is loaded correctly.
Make sure that the black plastic part of the label reel, the part containing the touch cell, is tucked into the smart cell reader. Try re-seating the touch cell back into the clip again to get this error message to clear. Refer to Wraptor A6500 - How to Load Labels for further instructions.
- Reform the smart-cell clip.
The smart-cell retainer clip may lose its ability to keep the smart cell tightly against the smart cell reader, especially if users don't rotate the black plastic material holder out of the smart cell reader. To fix this without replacing the clip, you can “Reform” or bend the metal clip by taking the flange out and pushing in the metal clip and holding it in for a few seconds.
Legacy Wraptor Only Troubleshooting
- Invalid Supply
The Wraptor will read the label part from the LabelMark file that is sent to it and from the smart cell that is loaded. You may get an error message if the wrong labels are loaded. This is a soft error message that can be bypassed.
- Issues reading newer style smart-cells.
- Upgrade the Firmware.
