If the Wraptor gives the error "Labels are not present or bad touch cells" and you can not clear the error by wiping with a cloth (to clean it) and reinstalling the smart cell into the silver sensor clip (which reads the label data programmed into the smart cell for the labels), you may need to replace the consumable retainer assembly (Brady part number Y471161).
Replacing the Consumable Retainer Assembly
1. Using a 3/32" allen wrench, remove the two screws holding the memory cell plate clip in place. Remove the clip from the printer frame.
2. Cut and remove the wire tie and unplug the connector.
3. Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the four screws and spacers holding the printer interface board in place. Swing the board away from the printer frame to expose all the screws holding the consumable retainer assembly in place.
4. Using a #1 Phillips screwdriver, remove the four screws and washers holding the consumable retainer assembly in place. Remove the consumable retainer assemblyby pulling it away from the printer frame.
Reverse Steps 1 through 4 to re-install the consumable retainer assembly.
