TitleRequesting a Repair Authorization for a Brady Benchtop Printer
Body

Note: This repair process information applies to Brady's North American region. For regions outside of North America, please contact your regional support to obtain repair process and warranty information: Global Brady Technical Support Contact Information.

Obtaining a Repair Authorization (RA)

Brady does not offer onsite repair services at this time.

Repair authorizations
can be requested on this page. Please be ready to provide the following information:

  • Return shipping address of the printer
  • Billing address
  • Printer model
  • Printer serial number
  • Problem description
  • Billing information (Credit Card or PO)
Note: Credit Card information cannot be sent in an email. Please contact Technical Support at 1-800-643-8766 to provide card information over a secure line.

If you already contacted Technical Support and have a case number, you do not need to create another case. Technical Support will create a repair authorization case and send a follow-up email authorizing the return for repair. This email will contain details of the repair, instructions for shipping and confirmation of return shipping address. Do not ship a printer to Brady without obtaining a repair authorization from Technical Support. Printers sent without authorization can become lost or greatly delay repair turnaround time.

Benchtop Warranty Repairs

Printers under warranty are repaired free of charge. User damage is not covered by the warranty.

Shipping

While you would pay shipping to Brady's repair facility, Brady will match your shipping method and pay return shipping to your facility following repair of your printer. Brady does not cover cost to ship the warranty or non-warranty printers to the repair facility.

Box Kits

Brady will send you the original factory box kit with foam inserts upon request. This ensures the printer does not sustain additional damages during shipping. Damages caused due to improper packaging may impact repair cost and turnaround time.

Brady also offers rental printers for non-warranty repairs. Contact Brady Technical Support for rental costs and to request a rental printer. Loaner Printer and Printer Rental Programs.
