The J1000 printer displays the error "Ink Not Present" error.


Troubleshooting

 
  1. Power cycle the printer.
 
  1. Clean the printer: J1000 - How to Clean Components.
 
  1. Replace the cartridge: How to Load Supplies into the J1000.
 
  1. Align the printer and cartridge: J1000 Printhead Alignment and Calibration.

If this does not correct the issue, the printer may need to be repaired: Requesting a Repair Authorization for a Brady Benchtop Printer.
