Body | Issues/SymptomsThe IP series printer displays "remove ribbon" or "no label detected". Some labels may print correctly, while others only print half of the label. CauseThese symptoms often occur when a driver by Seagull Scientific is installed. Seagull's drivers install as driver packages, meaning multiple drivers are installed and will auto-associate whenever a printer supported by that driver package is connected to a PC.Resolution
- Remove the Seagull driver package: Remove Drivers Using the Seagull Driver Removal Wizard.
- Install the correct IP series driver for use with Brady Software: How to Install the IP300 or IP600 Windows Print Driver.
- The printer is in Direct Thermal Mode. The printer should be in Thermal Transfer mode. Adjust the mode in the Driver and verify the setting on the printer: What is Direct Thermal Printing?
