Install the Wraptor Driver

Note: The Wraptor is no longer sold. The A6500 is the replacement for the Wraptor. For more information on upgrading the Wraptor to the A6500, refer to Can the original Wraptor be upgraded to the new Wraptor A6500? and Wraptor Upgrade - Process of Upgrading to the A6500.

Download the Wraptor driver.

Note: If you download the driver from BradyID, the folder will have drivers for multiple printer models.

Right click and choose Extract All.

Locate the PrinterInstall.exe, right click and choose Run as Administrator.

Note: If you install the driver from BradyID, you will still select the PrinterInstall.exe file.

Select Wraptor and select Next.

Select the Connection Type.

Note: USB is not supported for this model. A serial to USB adapter is required: USB to Serial Adaptor for Brady printers.

If connecting using a serial to USB adapter, choose Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings.

Choose a COM port if using a serial to USB adapter (you can change this later in the driver ports settings).

Select the Wraptor driver and click Next.

Click Next to complete the installation process.
