Invalid License ID or Password ErrorUpon entering activation information, Brady Workstation gives an error that says "Invalid License ID" or "Password error". CauseThis error will be given when the activation ID and Password entered are not valid for the installed apps or suite. For example, a PWID suite license will only activate the PWID suite, which includes Text Labels. You cannot use this license to activate Text Labels installed as a standalone app. The entire suite needs to be installed and activated as a whole.ResolutionNote: If these steps do not resolve, see additional troubleshooting at the end of this article.
- Make sure the software is up to date: How to Update Brady Workstation.
- Confirm which apps or suites are valid for your license ID: How to Find Your Brady Software License.
- Once confirmed, go to the Brady app store and confirm which suites or apps are currently installed.
- Installed apps have a green check mark (orange arrow means update available - when updates are available, always run all updates).
- If the installed suite or apps do not match your license information, select the correct apps or suites and install them.
Note: If the installed suite does match your license, try launching a different app within the suite and then enter activation information.
- Once installed, launch an app included in the suite. Use your license to activate, this will activate all apps in the suite at once.
