The leading edge of the label supply is either not straight or not inserted up to the black line under the ribs.
Troubleshooting
- The leading edge of the label roll is not inserted up to the black line under the ribs: To correct this, make sure the leading edge of the label roll is securely under the ribs (at least up to the black line): How to Load Ribbon and Labels into the BMP61 and M610 - Load Labels and Ribbon.
- The leading edge of the label roll is uneven or torn (not a straight edge). To correct this, use a pair of scissors to cut a straight leading edge on the label roll.
- The printer may have adhesive residue on the platen roller. Clean the printer: BMP61 / M610 - Clean the Printer.
