Out of Media Errors
- Media Supply is exhausted, check the screen to confirm the gauge shows media remaining.
Note: Brady will add around 10% extra labels to each media roll to account for labels wasted feeding and calibrating. For this reason the chip counter on the core may count down to zero before the roll is depleted.

- Labels are not installed correctly. Check the gray sliding level and ensure it is positioned tightly against the label roll. Labels/media must be installed so that they are biased against the front wall of the lower printer base. Notch Sensors in the lower printer base need to detect the presence of the labels to allow printer to operate correctly: How to Load Ribbon and Labels into the BMP61 or BMP61 - Loading Bulk Label Material.
- The notch sensors are dirty: BMP61 - Backfeeding labels, Check Media Errors and BMP61 / M610 - Clean the Printer.
- The media core containing the microchip has been reused. Do not reuse cores across media rolls. BMP61 / M611 / BMP71 - Best Practices When Using Bulk Media
