Body | Note: This process is not routinely validated. The BBP33, i3300, i5300, s3100, J4000 and the print driver are designed for use with Brady software such as LabelMark 6 or Brady Workstation. Troubleshooting print issues related to Microsoft Office products is beyond the scope of support offered by Brady Technical Support.
BBP33 / i3300 / i5300 / s3100 Printers:
- Download the driver: How to Install the BBP33 Driver or How to Install the i3300 Driver.
- Start by opening Printers & Scanners on Windows 10 Pro (Devices & Printers in Windows 7).
- Click on the printer, select Manage and Printer Properties ("Printer properties" in Windows 7).
- Select the Advanced Tab.
- Select Printing Defaults.
- Set the Orientation to Portrait.
- Select the Advanced Button.
- Select Paper Size and select the Properties button.
- Set the Paper Size to USER.
- Select OK four times to exit out of the BBP33/i3300 Properties window.
- Next, Open Microsoft Word and start a new document.
- Select Page Layout.
- Set the following Margins: Top Margin = 0 Bottom = 0 Left = 0 Right = 0
- Set Orientation to Portrait.
- Set Paper Size to: Custom Size.
- Width = Width of label material installed in the printer.
- Height = Height of label material installed in the printer.
- Select Page Setup and the Layout tab, and set the following:
- Header = 0
- Footer = 0
- Vertical alignment = Top
- Select OK.
Note: A warning message may appear indicating that "One or more margins are set outside the printable area..." You must select the "Ignore" option, for the label to work properly.
The area that now appears onscreen represents the label in the printer. Enter the desired information, and go to File and Print. Be sure the BBP33 is selected as the printer, enter the desired label copies, select OK to Print.
J4000 Instructions
- Download the driver: J4000 - How to Install the Printer Driver and PrintHub.
- Start by opening Printers & Scanners on Windows 10 Pro (Devices & Printers in Windows 7).
- Click on the J4000.
- Select Manage.
- Select Printer Properties ("Printer properties" in Windows 7).
- Select the Advanced Tab.
- Select Printing Defaults.
- Select Custom for the Page Size.
- Select OK twice to exit the properties.
- Set the following Margins: Top Margin = 0 Bottom = 0 Left = 0 Right = 0
- Set Orientation to Portrait.
- Set Paper Size to: Custom Size.
- Width = Width of label material installed in the printer.
- Height = Height of label material installed in the printer.
- Select Page Setup and the Layout tab, and set the following:
- Header = 0
- Footer = 0
- Vertical alignment = Top
- Select OK.
