The Design & Print Essentials is completely free and does not require a license. However it will begin with a 30 day trial of Custom Designer. If the Custom Designer app is not activated with a valid license, it will revert to Custom Designer Lite on day 31, removing the advanced features available in the Custom Designer professional version. - Download the Design & Print Essentials Suite using Chrome or Firefox.
Follow the instructions for Brady Workstation - How to Download and Install the Software and Apps from the Web.
- Follow prompts to complete installation. If the installation stops suddenly or cannot complete, reach out to your IT admin to confirm you have sufficient privileges to install software on your PC.

Why is the Free Version Asking for Activation?
Upon installation the Design & Print Essentials will begin a 30 day evaluation for Custom Designer. After the 30 day evaluation, Custom Designer Lite will activate. You do not need to upgrade to Custom Designer to continue using the Design & Print Essentials Suite. You can hide this message within the activation prompt dialog:
