Issue

 

Void areas or lines appear on the printed text.

 

Troubleshooting

 

  1. Tension the ribbon by rotating the rewind spool (spool closest to the printer with the printhead locking lever open) in a downward direction until the slack is removed: i7500 - Load Labels and Ribbon.

 

  1. Try another ribbon.

 

  1. If using i75-series labels and ribbon, verify that the print head lift is on. If the print head lift is off, there may be a vertical indentation in the label: i7500 - Adjust Print Head Lift.

 

  1. Clean the printer: i7500 - Clean the Printer.

 

If the void is in the same spot on the label, there may be a pixel that is burned out. Contact Global Brady Technical Support Contact Information and provide the serial number: i7500 - Serial Number Location.
