Issue/Symptoms

"Cut at end of job" is grayed out and can't be selected on the printer touch screen.
"Cut at end of job" option is unavailable in Brady Workstation.

Affected Products

B30 series printers: BBP30, BBP31, BBP33, S3000, S3100, i3300, BBP35, and BBP37.

Cause

The "end of job" setting is disabled in the Advanced Settings dialog and in the printer touch screen menus when the print job is a multi-pass print job (CMYK, spot-color, xy-cutting). This is because the printer uses the leading edge of the tape to calibrate each print pass for individual labels, so the printer must shear cut between the labels. This is a limitation of the printer, not the software.

This behavior is to be expected when the following conditions are met:

Using multicolor mode: Color Mode Options in Brady Workstation
The Supply Saver Feature is enabled: Supply Saver in Brady Workstation
X/Y plot cutting: Using the BBP37 XY Plotter Cutter
When multi color panel ribbons are installed in the printer (standalone printing).
