Issue

The printer is connected to the PC, however it cannot be viewed in the software or Devices and Printers. 

Resolutions
 
  1. Verify the cable is connected correctly: The USB B or USB C end goes into the printer and the USB A end goes into the computer.
 
  1. Power cycle the printer and restart the software (yes, turn everything off and turn it back on again). 
 
  1. Make sure you installed the driver (if required). Use this knowledge base to locate the article containing driver installation and instructions for your printer (e.g. "i7100 install driver").
Note: If you're using Brady Workstation, you may not need to install the driver. See this article for more info - Brady Workstation - Direct Print Compatibility.
