Importing LabelMark Files and Templates into Brady Workstation

Brady Workstation comes with a Labelmark 4 Converter app that can convert Labelmark 4 files to Brady Workstation files in a batch mode. There is no conversion app for Labelmark version 5 and 6 and each file would have to be opened in Brady Workstation and Saved. This creates the Brady Workstation file, leaving the Labelmark file unchanged.

Important: After you open and save Labelmark files in Brady Workstation, delete or move the Labelmark file into a different folder. Keeping all of the old files can cause slowness within Brady Workstation.

Labelmark software was first created 30 years ago and used some Windows components that no longer work or are supported by Microsoft. Brady Workstation was created on much newer technology and does have some differences to give our users added functionality. Some Labelmark files may not be complete or formatted the same in Brady Workstation as they were in Labelmark.  See the following document if this happens: Problems Opening LabelMark Files in Brady Workstation.

Files and templates created in Graphics Mode can be edited by Custom Designer. Files and templates created in Line Mode can be edited in Text Labels. All templates can be opened in Print Partner regardless of Graphics or Line Mode.
