Installing the i5100 Driver
Note: Currently, the driver is compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11.
- Download the driver from BradyID by selecting Begin Download.
- Open the file location.
- Right-click and choose Extract All.
- Choose the extracted file location and select Extract.
- Double-click the extracted folder.
- Right-click the executable and choose Run as administrator.
- Choose your language and select Next.
- Ensure printer is not connected via USB, and click Install.
- Choose your DPI model and click Next.
- If connecting via USB, choose the USB option and click Next. See below for networking settings.
- Connect the printer via USB, power the printer on, and click Next.
- Wait while printer checks printing status. Click Next and Finish to complete the driver installation.

- Choose the Wireless or Ethernet Network connection option.
- Ensure printer is powered on, connect it to your network, and click Next.
- Enter your printer's IP address or Hostname. This can be viewed from the printer touch screen under Settings > Info. Click Next.
- Enter the name of your printer and click Next.
- Wait for installation to complete, click Next, and then Finish.
