Note: The J2000 driver was updated in June of 2019. The driver disc that ships with the J2000 should not be used. Download the driver from the link below.

Installing the J2000 Driver

If you experience issues during the driver install (such as the driver install hanging a the verification step) See end of article for driver troubleshooting steps.


1. Download the latest driver from BradyID (link).

2. Right click and choose "Extract All".

3. Right click the SETUP .exe and choose "Run as administrator".

4. Click Next and Follow Prompts, do not connect the USB cable to the PC until instructed.

If this is a first time setup of the printer, click "Setup Printer" and follow prompts.
