Issue

Brady Workstation cannot send a print job to the print queue of an installed printer driver in Windows 10. The software will briefly display "Sending job to printer" but nothing will print.

Cause

The Windows 10 64-bit operating system will not allow a 32-bit application to send print jobs to a 64-bit driver.

Workaround

Install the 64 bit version of the application.

1. Fully Remove Brady Workstation.

2. Install Brady Workstation. Brady Workstation will detect and detect the bit version matching your operating system.

Next Steps

As of February 2020 BWS no longer relies on the MADE to import xls, xlsx and csv files. The MADE is still required for importing from a Microsoft Access DatabaseBrady Workstation - "Unable to open Excel File", "MS AccessDatabaseEngine" or other importing errors
