If you are using Brady Workstation software, you generally do not need to install the printer driver. The exception is that the Data Automation app within Brady Workstation does require the printer driver to be installed. If connecting the printer using an Ethernet connection, it is best to configure the connection before installing the driver: i7500 - Connect via Ethernet.
- Download the driver from BradyID.
Important: Do not connect the printer until prompted.
- Right-click to Extract All the driver folder.
- Right-click the executable file and click Run as Administrator.
Important: Do not plug in the USB cable into the printer until prompted on the screen.
- Click Let's get started.
- Click Next.
- Wait for the Driver to install and click Next.
- Connect the printer via USB or connect the printer to the same Wi-Fi network as the computer. Click Next.
Important: Wait a few seconds for the computer to detect the USB connection. If you do not wait a few seconds or you receive the Connection Issue message, click RETRY.
If a connection error displays, verify the printer and computer have the same Wi-Fi connection. Reconnect if necessary.
If an IP address is used, click Enter IP Address.
- Connected message displays if successful. Click Next.
If the connection is not successful, verify the computer and printer have the same Wi-Fi connection. If the connection was via USB, Next was click too quickly.
- Click the link to register the printer. Once complete, click Next.
- Click the checkbox and click Brady may contact me.
- Click Close.
