The i5300 gives an "invalid ribbon" or "invalid supply" error. 


Troubleshooting
 
  1. Confirm the material has the V:2 chip design: V2 Chip Redesign for B30 Series Materials.

  1. Confirm the ribbon and label materials are compatible: i5300 Ribbon and Labels Compatibility Chart.
 
  1. Try another roll of labels and ribbon. If available, try new material with a different part number or lot number. 
 
  1. Clean the sensors on the printer: How to Clean the i5300 Printer.
 
  1. Update the YB Parts Database: i5300 - Update the Parts Database.
