Issue

The printer displays "supply wiper arm closed".

Cause
 
  1. The wiper arm is down with die cut media. The wiper arm should not be engaged when using die cut media: Why Are Label Materials Referred to As "Die-Cut" or Continuous"?

  1. The wiper arm is over the supply bridge. When the wiper arm is over the supply bridge it is not fully in the up position, which is why the error displays.

Resolution 
 
  1. Move the wiper arm in the up position.

  1. Put the Supply Bridge over the Media Wiper.

Additional Troubleshooting

If you are using continuous media, or the wiper arm is not closed using die-cut media, then try power cycling the printer. You can also try engaging and disengaging the wiper arm. If this does not clear the error, then the wiper arm sensor my have failed.
