Issue/Symptoms
  • The i3300 cuts in the wrong spot, cuts skewed, crooked or not perfectly square. ]
  • The i3300 cuts off the top of the labels.

Cause

This is usually caused by adhesive buildup inside the printer. This issue may even be exhibited in new printers if the user installs old materials or materials with adhesive ooze: Adhesive Bleeding/ Label Sticking on Die Cut Material

Resolution

1. Clean the printer sensors: i3300 - Cleaning and Preventative Maintenance

2. Fully power cycling the printer (remove the power cable).

3. If using die-cut material, make sure the wiper arm is not engaged: i3300 "Supply Wiper Arm Closed" Error

4. Try using a material of a different size or material type. This will determine if the issue is the printer or the label media.
