The S3700 labels have poor print quality.

Cause 
 
  1. The ribbon and label media are incompatible, or using an incorrect label material and ribbon combination.
  2. Dust or adhesive accumulated on the printhead.
  3. The media wiper is dirty. 

Troubleshooting
 
  1. Verify the correct ribbon for the label roll is loaded in the printer: S3700 - Ribbon and Label Compatibility Chart.
 
  1. Change the ribbon or label combination.
 
  1. Clean the printhead: S3700 - Clean the Printer.
 
  1. Clean the Media Wiper or replace the Media Pad. 
 
  1. Increase the Print Energy: BBP35 / BBP37 / BBP85 / S3100 / S3700 - Adjust Print Head Energy.
