Body
Manually Set the i5100 Media Sensor

The media sensor used is determined by the RFID chip on the media loaded in the printer. If no RFID chip is present on the media, it may be necessary to manually set the sensor used.

Note: Prior to firmware 5.28, the i5100 would default to the gap sensor when no RFID chip was detected, despite manually configured settings. These settings below will not apply unless you have firmware 5.28 and your media does not have an RFID chip. This means user configurations will not persist unless you upgrade the firmware to 5.28 or above and remove the media's RFID chip.
