M610 / M710 - Change the Font Type
- Press FN + SETUP.
- Use the navigational arrows to Font Settings. Press Enter.
- Press Enter to expand the list of fonts.
- Use the navigational arrows to Brady Fixed Width No Slash 0 or Brady Alpine No Slash 0. Press Enter on the printer.
Typeface: Select the style of lettering. The font types (Brady Fixed Width and Brady Alpine give you the option of displaying a zero with or without a slash (0 or Ø) through it. In addition, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean fonts are available. Additional fonts cannot be downloaded to the printer.
- Adjust other Font Settings as needed. Use the navigational arrows to highlight other options and press Enter on the printer to check or uncheck settings.
- Auto: Automatically sizes the text to fit in the label as you type. The current font size is shown in the upper left of the touchscreen while editing a label.
- Font Size: (Unavailable if Auto is selected.) Change the size of the text. This sets the defaultfont size. When editing a label, you can change the font size on a per line basis.
- Attributes: Select one or more of bold, italic, and underline. This sets the default attribute. When editing a label, you can change the attribute for any character.
- Units: Choose whether to show the font size in points (a standard unit used in most word processors) or millimeters.
- Use the navigational arrows to highlight OK and press Enter on the printer.
