J7300 / Brady Workstation
Brady Workstation has an updated color feature in version 4.19.0.4 for the J7300 only. If you do not see this feature or the J7300 in Custom Designer, Custom Designer Lite, or Text Labels, upgrade your Brady Workstation version: Brady Workstation - How to Update the Software.
The eyedropper tool can choose colors from an image on the label. Click the eyedropper tool and click a spot on the label where you want to select the color.
The color appears in the advanced section when you select the paint can.
- The Color Guide includes the basic stock colors, while the Color Palettes includes the ANSI ZS35.1, ISO 3864, and Brady Safety standard colors.
- To use that color in the future, click Add Color. The color appears under Custom Colors.
- To add a specific color you know the RGB values for, enter those values at the bottom in each applicable field and click Add Color.
To remove the color from Custom Colors, right-click the color and click Clear.
The More Colors feature is available in Brady Workstation for any inkjet printer.
Background Fill
The background color can be set on the Document tab. Click the paint can to select the background color. The default background color is No Fill.
Background fill for parts with multiple zones can be selected separately. Click the paint can for each zone to set different colors.
