Setup WiFi on the S3100

This article provides instructions to connect the S3100 to a wireless network. To setup the S3100 for a hardline connection see: How to Network the S3100 Printer (Hardline)
 
  1. Select Menu.

  1. Select Setup.

  1. Choose Network.

  1. Select the Wi-Fi button.

  1. If Enabled is not selected, tap the checkbox the check Wi-Fi Connection.
 
  1. Select the desired network.

  1. Press Connect.

  1. Tap Select for Authentication Type and choose the Authentication Type.

  1. Type the Username for the network.

  1. Enter the network password if needed.

  1. Press the green check mark.

Connect the S3100 to a Hidden Network

If the enterprise or personal network you need is not in the list, it may not be discoverable. 
 
  1. Follow steps 1-5 above.
 
  1. Scroll to the bottom of the discovered networks and tap Others.

  1. Check the box for your appropriate network type - Personal or Enterprise.
Other Network options
 
  1. The system displays fields based on your selection. Enter the corresponding data for the Personal or Enterprise network. You may need information from your IT department to complete the settings.

  1. Once all information is entered, press Connect.
