Body | Label per Ribbon Formula Determine the number of labels you can print using one ribbon roll or cartridge.
Step 1: Label Height in inches + gap between labels = X Step 2: Ribbon length in inches divided by X = number of labels per ribbonExample:
Step 1:Label Part Number PTL-19-422 is 1" tall. 1.0" label height + 0.1 Gap Between Labels= 1.1" X = 1.1"Step 2:BMP61 / TLS2200 Ribbon is 75 ft long. Convert the ribbon length from feet to inches: 75 x 12 is 900" 900" divided by 1.1" = 818
Ribbon Length (900") divided by label height + 0.1" Gap Between Labels (1.1") = 818 labels. Since PTL- 19-422 has 250 labels per roll, you can print approximately 3.27 rolls of labels with one ribbon.
Note: This answer is approximate. Some labels may have a different gap between labels.
