Importing Fonts and Images to the BBP35, BBP37, and S3700 Printers
The images must be in bitmap (.bmp),. wmf, .jpeg, or .png format. Only standard Windows fonts: ( *.ttf ) True Type Fonts can be imported into the BBP35, BBP37, or S3700 printers.
Note: With this printer, you are unable to import Brady Workstation files. If you want to import a Brady Workstation file, the printer will need to be connected to computer. Refer to Brady Workstation - Direct Print Compatibility.
Why Are My Images Printing "Grainy" Or Solid Black?
Note there are special considerations when printing graphics on THT printers. If your images print solid black or appear grainy, this is because the images must be monochrome Black & White (no grayscale). If colored, the colors must be an exact shade (hue) match of whatever Brady colored ribbons are being used. Reference these articles for more information:
Note: In March 2021 Windows Update kb000802 introduced a bug that causes images to print solid black. This will only occur when printing from a PC, not using the standalone touch screen: Suddenly my image or graphic files within my label files are printing all black.
