Data Automation was updated in October 2025 to include the integration with E-plan. Eplan is a software for electrical engineering. The software is purchased separately and is not purchased from Brady. Brady simply added the integration with Eplan into Data Automation to print labels.
If the integration does not appear, verify the 4.27.0.0 version of Brady Workstation and 2.23.0.2 version of Data Automation is installed. If there is a prior version of Brady Workstation installed, update the software: Brady Workstation - How to Update the Software.
Everything will need to be set up on the Eplan administrator side.
- Create the workplace.
- Add a device and printer address (IP address that will be used in Data Automation).
- Assign the workplace to an order.
- Enter the order name and create the order.
- Order list.
- Select one of the options.
- Click the numbers to print and click the printer icon.
