Note: The complete list above is for Custom Designer. If using the free Basic Design Suite with Custom Designer Lite, the barcode options are limited to linear symbologies (only vertical lines, such as Code 39, Code 128, etc), while the 2D barcodes (square barcodes that can contain a lot more data, such as Datamatrix and QR codes) are no longer available.
Once a barcode is created in a label or template in Custom Designer, it can be used in Print Partner, Data Automation and Scan & Print apps in addition to Custom Designer.
For more information on which barcode to choose, refer to Product and Barcode Labeling and 1D and 2D barcodes, refer to 1D vs 2D Barcodes on BradyID. Barcode standards can vary by industry and region. To find information about specific barcodes, you can easily search online using your preferred web browser.
