TitleBMP71 - Vertical or Horizontal Lines in print
Body
If you have blank lines (voids, where no ink transfers) in your print, the direction of the lines help determine the cause.

If the lines are vertical - it could be caused by low batteries. Charge the battery or switch to A/C Power Supply.

If the lines are horizontal - always in the same place through all labels, a pixel on the printhead might be dirty or damaged. Clean the printhead (the brown line to the right of the green line on the printhead assembly, under the ribbon) and the platen roller (black rubber roller in lower right of inside printer, just to the right of a yellow bar). If that does not fix it, the printer will need to come in for repair.

Note: If the cleaning card is not available, manually clean the printhead and platen roller using cotton swabs & isopropyl alcohol: How to Clean the BMP71.

When in doubt of the direction, try both sets of fixes - make sure you have good power and clean the printhead and roller.
