Purchase BMP71 cleaning supplies (M71-CLEAN) on BradyID.
Remove the ribbon and labels from the printer before initiating the cleaning routine.
Clean with the Cleaning Card
Choose Config.
Press OK or Enter.
Navigate to Clean Printer and press OK or Enter.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Place the cleaning card from (M71-CLEAN) in the label compartment of the printer, inserting the left edge of the card up to the black link under the ribs.
Close the printer cover, ensuring it latches.
Press OK to initiate the cleaning routine.
Clean the Print Head
Using the swab from the cleaning kit (M71-CLEAN), clean the black and green part of the print head.
Clean the Notch Sensor
Open the printer cover.
Using the swab from the cleaning kit (M71-CLEAN), gently wipe the sensor before the platen roller and the sensor underneath the box.
