New BMP71 Media Adapter for TLS2200 Materials
Starting February 10, 2016 the supply core for TLS/PC Link labels went through a design upgrade. Due to this new core design, the BMP71 media adapter has been modified as well. The new media adapter design will help maintain its contact to the printer smart cell bay.
Therefore: In order to use the updated TLS supplies with the BMP71, users MUST:
1. Use the Updated Media Adapter

Details
The new media adapter can be seen on the top (black) and the old adapter on the bottom (yellow).
The Updated Media Adapter is black unlike the previous yellow media adapter design.
If you are using both the TLS2200 and the BMP71 printer, new adapters will need to be ordered. Please note that if you are only using the BMP71 portable printer and do not use a TLS2200, then you can purchase the same TLS material but with an M71 material part number (TLS2200 materials often start with "PTL", the BMP71 equivalent will begin with "M71"). The M71 material comes with the new adapter and you will not have to order any new media adapters.
