Body | IssueWhen pressing the power button the printer doesn't respond and turn on.
Causes
- The battery pack is not charged. Attach the AC Adapter to the printer and plug into an electrical outlet. This will supply immediate power while charging the battery at the same time.
- Press and hold the power button for fifteen seconds to reboot the printer.
- The power supply has malfunctioned. If you have a voltmeter, you can test the output of the power supply to confirm it is working properly: BMP41, BMP51/53, BMP71 - AC Power Supply Voltage.
- Mechanical failure of the printer. If the battery and power supply are confirmed working, the printer may have an internal mechanical failure: Requesting a Repair Authorization for a Brady Portable Printer.
