Issue

Labels will not advance out of the printer.


Troubleshooting 
 
  1. The leading edge of the label roll may be uneven or torn. There may also be too much of the label leading out of the cartridge. Use a pair of scissors to cut a straight leading edge on the labels.

  1. Clean the printer. 
 
  1. Verify the locking lever is closed for the label cartridge.

  1. Try another cartridge: M210 - Label Materials Guide and M211 - Label Materials Guide.
 
  1. Check to see if there is ribbon around the platen roller. Use the locking lever to move the platen roller upwards and carefully remove the ribbon.
