Body | Load Labels and Ribbon in the BBP31
- Open the enclosure cover (opens from left).
- Release the latch on the ribbon cover.
- Open the media wipers to the widest position.
- If media wiper is engaged, slide the yellow media wiper back.
- Insert the media into the printer with the media chip on the left side.
- Feed media from the top of the roll until the middle of the platen roller.
- Close the media guides until they touch the edge of the label liner with the media under the guides.
- Use the Wiper Bar for continuous labels: Are all labels on a roll considered "Continuous"? No, if separate labels on the roll liner, they are "Die-Cut".
- Insert the ribbon over the printhead. The Brady logo on the ribbon will match the imprint inside the printer.
- Close the ribbon cover.
- Close the enclosure cover until you hear it click into place.
