A5500 / A6500 - Printing from BarTender

A5500 and A6500 can print from BarTender.
 
If the print job goes through to the printer queue, but the printer never acknowledges that it received the print job, verify the settings in the driver. 

Configure A5500 / A6500 
 

1. Download the Driver for Wraptor/A5500/A6500. Refer to How to Install the Wraptor Driver or How to Install the A5500 Driver or How to Install the A6500 Driver for USB or Network Connection Types for further instructions. 

2. In File > Page Setup, set the following:
   • Stock tab: Predefined Stocks tab set Category = Document Specific
   • Page tab: Page Size = label part number (Example: WRAP-4-427) and Orientation = Portrait 
   • Layout tab: Rows & Columns = 1 and Margins all = 0

Setting the File Name in the Driver
 

1. Open Devices & Scanners on your computer. 

 

2. Select the printer and select Manage.

 

3. Select Printer Properties.

4. Select Advanced. 

5. Select Properties for Page Size.

6. File Name options display. 

• Use Same Name for all files: This is the same for every file and overwrites the previous files.
• Auto-create variable name:
  • If Custom String is not checked, it could be the PC's login name followed by numbers. 
  • If Custom String is checked, the title is what is entered in the textbox followed by 001, 002, etc. 
• Prompt for name if not provided by application: The BarTender file name is sent to the print queue. A box appears with the File Name. Enter a name and select OK.
