Issue

The user receives a Print head open error when they attempt to wrap a wire.


Troubleshooting

 

  1. Wraptor legacy only: "Printer head open" error basically means that the printhead can not make contact with the label. Press the Setup tab > Clear Jam > Online to clear this error message.

  1. The Tilt Sensor in the back has likely shifted and is now either to high or low. This will not allow the print head make contact with the label and platen roller. The printer will need to be repaired, contact Brady Tech Support to request a repair: Requesting a Repair Authorization for a Brady Benchtop Printer. Please provide your serial number with your request: Wraptor - Serial number location or How to Locate the Serial Number on the A6500.
