Body | IssueUsers receive an "upgrade file not found" error during the S3100 firmware upgrade process. Troubleshooting1. Reference these instructions to ensure correct steps are followed to create the upgrade flash drive: How to Upgrade the Firmware on the S3100
- Note: Make sure the filename is not modified, Windows will append a number to duplicate downloaded files e.g.: file(1).cab, file(2).cab. FAT32 is the recommended file system for upgrading firmware on Brady printers. Also make sure the file is loaded to the root of the flash drive - not contained in any folder.
2. Try using the other USB port on the physical printer.
3. Try re-downloading the file. Sometimes files can become corrupt during the download process. This has been seen to resolve issues where a firmware upgrade would abort after completing a portion of the upgrade process. Still Not Working?
