Body | Issue The A6500 displays a "timeout hotstamp" error when used inline with the ES9380 using Cayman and Cayman Device Connector.Cause This is caused by a synchronization issue between the Cayman hardware and the A6500 Wraptor printer. Resolution
- Verify the connection and verify everything is connected and configured: A6500 - Configure the Wraptor and Schleuniger.
- Check the Wraptor firmware version and if it is V 1.1.91188, you may need to upgrade to the most recent version. Firmware version 122090 resolves the intermittent “Timeout on hotstamp” error, and any firmware version greater than 122090 will fix this issue. Refer to How to Upgrade the Firmware on the A6500.
- Set the ES9380 signal duration and timeout as shown below.
- Use the following settings in the A6500 configuration menu.
