Issue/Symptoms

A user presses any button on the BMP21-PLUS and the printer shuts off. 

Troubleshooting
  • Replace all the batteries with fresh batteries. Replacing single batteries may provide the printer with out of range voltage. 
  • Make sure you are using new AA alkaline batteries. These supply the correct voltage to the printer. Rechargeable/Lithium AA batteries will not supply the correct voltage and cause power issues. 
  • If you are using the rechargeable Lithium battery from Brady, make sure you are charging it correctly: BMP21 Plus - Battery Pack must be out of the printer when charging it with the AC Adapter
