Store and Delete Files on the M611 Label PrinterThe M611 Label Printer is able to store files from Brady Workstation or Express Labels Mobile directly on the printer. This is only capable on the M611 with the Authentic A mark above the LCD screen on the right side.
Note: If your M611 printer does not have the Authentic A mark, this is an older version of the printer and you are unable to store files.
Store Files on the M611 Label Printer
Note: These instructions are the same if you want to save Brady Workstation files on a USB drive to use in the M611 Label Printer. Files stored on a USB flash drive cannot be transferred to the printer’s internal memory, but can be printed with the USB drive connected to the printer.
- Connect the M611 Label Printer to the computer with the USB Cable, over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
- Turn on the M611 Label Printer.
- Verify the Storage Location settings are set to Internal Memory: M611 Label Printer - Storage Location Settings.
- If using Brady Workstation, open the label file and select print to view the Print screen.
- Select the down arrow next to print.
- Select Store on Printer.
- Select Store.
- Enter the Print Job Name and select Store.
The file is now stored on the internal memory of the printer. Label settings and specifics including content, file name, quantity, sorting, and cutting preference are not editable. Stored files in internal memory can only be printed or deleted.
Note: USB drives cannot be used to transfer files to store on the printer.
Delete a File Stored on the Printer's Internal Memory
- Select the right arrow on the main menu.
- Select Files.
- Select the file to delete.
- Select the three dots for additional options.
- More options display. Scroll down.
- Select Delete.
- Select Delete on the Delete File message.
- Repeat the steps for each additional file you want to delete.
