View and Upgrade the Firmware on the J7300

Only upgrade the firmware version if other troubleshooting steps have been completed first.

View the Firmware
 
  1. Select Settings on the home screen
  2. Select About.

Upgrade the Firmware
 
  1. Download the latest firmware from BradyID.
  2. Save the firmware file to a USB drive. 
  3. Connect the USB drive to the USB port on the printer. The printer recognizes the upgrade file and displays a message on the touchscreen. 
  4. Follow the instructions on the LCD of the J7300.
