J7300 Power SettingsThe J7300 should always be plugged in. The J7300 printer has self maintenance routines which keep the ink from drying out when the printer is plugged in. The printer does not have a power button to shut off the printer completely. Power Save ModeYou can leave the printer in a state of readiness all the time so the software can find the printer or you can choose to conserve power so that the printer automatically goes to sleep after a period of inactivity.
Set the inactive period:
- Press Settings.
- Press System Configuration.
- Press Power Save Mode.
- Tap AC Power.
- Slide the time indicator dot left to decrease the time or right to increase the time for the amount of inactive time that can elapse before the printer automatically shuts down. Alternatively you can press the minus button to decrease or the plus button to increase the time.
- Press the back arrow to return to the home screen.
Note: The screen and status light dim when the printer is idle.
Sleep Mode
The display and status light turn off when the printer is asleep. The system goes into a low power consumption state but does not require a cold start to turn back on. Automatic maintenance and cleaning routines will still run.
Press the power button to put the printer to sleep or wake the printer up.
