TitleJ1000 Suddenly Stops After Beginning Print Job
Body
Issue/Symptoms
  • The J1000 begins a print job but then suddenly stops.
  • The gears start to hum inside the printer and then nothing happens.
  • The printer is going through the full print process and it looks like it should be producing fully printed tags, but no ink is being applied.
  • The user is occasionally able to get print but it's been poor quality print.

Troubleshooting

If the user was previously able to print without issues, then it is likely the print head nozzles have become clogged. The printer should always remained plugged in and powered on so that the cleaning cycles can complete. If the printer must be transported, the ink cartridge should be removed and put back in the clear plastic cap.
