Body | IP or i5100 Printer Does Not Detect White Ribbon
When using White ribbon (R4400) in the IP printer, the media sensor sometimes fails to detect the difference between the label liner and the white ribbon since they are the same color. This can result in skipped labels and inconsistent performance.

Users can order custom labels (custom pricing applies) with a black outline printed around the notch on the back of the liner--this can alleviate the problem but print on the label can be misaligned by up to a mm or two. User may have to use XY offset setting to adjust for this. We recommend testing this prior to purchase. |
