The Brady Network Card firmware is upgraded using the Brady Network Card Utility. This utility is installed as part of the driver installation for any BNC-supported printer model: Install Brady Network Card Configuration Utility
Install the Brady Network Card Config utility before attempting the below steps. If you have installed your printer driver, the config utility .exe can be found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Brady Corporation\Brady Network Card Configuration Utility.
Upgrading the BNC Firmware to Version 2.10
1. Download the attached firmware file. 2. Launch the BNC config utility. 3. From the general tab, click Firmware Upgrade.
4. Navigate to the downloaded zip file and select it. If you cannot locate the .zip file you just downloaded, contact your IT administrator.
5. Click Yes. If you receive an "Invalid Firmware" error, then you are selecting the wrong file for firmware upgrade. Make sure you are selecting the .zip file downloaded from this article.
6. Wait for the firmware upgrade to complete. Do not touch the printer during the firmware upgrade.
